Raising Resilient Families

Sofia Olausson from Elim Christian College

Elim Christian College will be hosting the community seminar "Raising Resilient Families - in life, relationships and their online world" with the renowned Collett Smart. This will take place on the 14th August starting at 7:15pm (gold coin donation) in the auditorium at 159 Botany Rd.

Parenting can be fun and exciting, but new changes and challenges can also feel overwhelming. How can we support our children to become who they are meant to be?

In this interactive seminar Collett discusses:
- How we might harness the resilience factors within each child
- What children want and what they actually need
- Helping young people take their resilience online
- Practical tips for enhancing your relationship with your children and teens
Guest speaker, Collett Smart is a psychologist, qualified teacher and author of ‘THEY'LL BE OKAY: 15 Conversations To Help Your Child Through Troubled Times’ (Hachette)

Would love to see you there!

Poll: Should you ask before planting tall shrubs/trees near your property line?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

It may be fine now but in a few years trees can block out light or views for neighbours.
