Movie night fundraiser
We have a fundraiser evening on 17 March, to see the 2023 movie 'The Great Escaper' at the Bridgeway. This is the last movie made by the late Glenda Jackson and Michael Caine (before his retirement). It is a fundraiser for our parish activities BUT we will again give a % of what we make to De Paul House. Please message if you'd like tickets.
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
