Gardening morning Opaketai Beach Haven Garden 9.00am Sun 7th March 2021
Gardening Day is on again this Sunday 7th March at 9.00am. Thankfully now that we will be at level 2 again we are good to go again.
Suggest that we tidy Opaketai Beach Haven Garden for a short while to get it ready for the Community Connecting and Sustainability Expo on the 20th march and then go and weed out the BH Hall Entrance Garden which is getting very weedy again.
Looking forward to seeing you there with bucket and trowels, etc.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
