📣 We're Number 1! - Auction Statistics for March/April/May 2020

Ali Hellesoe - Ray White Real Estate

This little circle that you are looking at with numbers and words on it is something our team is very proud of.

While our country went into lockdown we made a conscious decision to find solutions for our clients who were partway through campaigns to sell their properties. With the aid of technology and the power of teamwork, Carpenter Realty came together to make remote auctions happen from our auctioneers living room!

Why? For one reason only: #carpentercare

What sets us apart from the rest? The difference is in how we care for our customers. Carpenter Care means if there's a chance we can work hard enough to make it happen, then we will do whatever it takes.

We are a humble bunch at Carpenter Realty. All that flashy stuff isn't really what we are about. But this little circle? It says we have the best auction results out of all the agencies in the North Shore for the last 3 months, and that makes us feel pretty good.

Well done team, you've done us proud.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

Poll: 🤖 What skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Reserve Bank has shared some pretty blunt advice: there’s no such thing as a “safe” job anymore 🛟😑

Robots are stepping into repetitive roles in factories, plants and warehouses. AI is taking care of the admin tasks that once filled many mid-level office jobs.

We want to know: As the world evolves, what skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?

Bert Sutcliffe Retirement Village

A Valentine’s-inspired wedding dress show at Ryman Healthcare’s Logan Campbell Village is providing the perfect opportunity for residents to share memories of their romantic day.

But for Emma Muller, it has also turned into an opportunity to celebrate her late daughter Nicola, who died 19 years ago at the age of 37.
