I am new to this Give A Little thing, but needed to do something to help someone very close to me, out of her current predicament. I have set up a Give A Little page for my friend & her young kids who have become victims of a situation that has left them homeless & with no car. Other Kiwi companies using the faulty payroll system have only chosen to provide remediation dating back the legally required six years, Mr Treen says. McDonald's spokesman Simon Kenny confirmed the remediation process has begun at their end. "We have spent tens of thousands of hours working on what is a hugely complex project, in order to ensure the approach to making calculations is correct," Mr Kenny told. "With the agreement in place we can now start the process of doing individual calculations. "As other companies working on annual leave remediation have done, we will advertise when we have worked through the calculations and will have a website current and former employees can log into."
Last month, the Government announced it will pay up to $650 million to fix long-running holiday pay deficit for DHB workers.

Air NZ has 10 of the affected Trent 1000 TEN engines fitted to its 787-9 fleet. The airline says while efforts have been made to minimise disruption so far, schedule changes have become unavoidable.

The warnings come after yesterday's deluge of rain that overloaded parts of the storm and wastewater networks. A black alert indicating a very high risk of illness from swimming was issued for Castor Bay just after 3pm yesterday.
It's recommended that people do not enter the water while the warnings are in place.
