We have some junior and former Black Sticks running coaching sessions, we’re running a Fast 5’s Hockey Tournament, Hockey Have-a-Go and Skill Development sessions for kids, a Sustainable Stick game, and even a Glow in the Dark game under the Matariki Stars.
Or come and watch as we battle it out on the turf against and with our sister school, Westlake Girls, and a WBHS Teachers / Westlakers team.
There are hockey skills challenges for those who want to test themselves. As well as a sausage sizzle, cake stall, coffees and cold drinks available for sideline supporters. There's even a colouring-in and design competition to keep the youngsters busy.
Check out the website for all the info, and the Programme attached. Sign-up by 23rd June if you're interested in specific activities. Bring your friends and family and join in the 24-hour Hockeyathon fun! Bring some gold coins (though eftpos is available).

The first half has Club members playing either their keyboard or the Clavinova piano, then there is a tea break and the second half has either senior Club members or a guest artist playing - this Sunday we have Rob and Barbara Powell playing together on the keyboard and the piano - they both have been playing for many years. Do come along and enjoy the music and friendship - new members are always welcome. The fee is $8.00 for visitors and members $5.00. There is a raffle ($2.00 a ticket) and you will be welcomed at the desk by Philippa.
