Fire alarm sounding from 6 pm to 11 pm on Wednesday 13 November 2019
Dear Flat Bush community, on behalf of the Tyndale Park Christian School Trust I want to express our deep regret that you have had to listen to the fire alarm from 6 pm to 11 pm last night.
Unfortunately, vandals came on site just after the last teacher locked up the school and smashed the fire alarm switch next to Room 10 in order to locate the sirens and steal them (an unfortunately common occurrence at a lot of schools). For some reason, the fire alarm system was not communicating with our monitoring company, causing them to be blissfully unaware of the alarm going off, preventing us from resetting the alarm.
The monitoring mistake has now been corrected. However, if the fire alarm sounds for more than 10 minutes in the future, please feel free to call our monitoring company at 09 292 8222.
Kind regards.
Mā te Atua e manaaki.
