Songwriters' showcase at Uxbridge, Sunday, March 24

Phil from Farm Cove

Happening this Sunday, March 24, The Bridge is a showcase of singer-songwriters Davey Jo South, Justin Devereux, and Steve Edwards, celebrating the art of songwriting.

It’s being staged in the intimate setting of Uxbridge Arts and Culture Theatre in Howick, 4pm to 6pm.

The Bridge will present Davey Jo South, Steve Edwards and Justin Deveraux talking about the stories behind their original songs, new and old, and their creative writing processes. They’ll also play live, too.

All three are at different stages in recording their works and releasing them publicaly, but one thing is clear that they have in common – they’re always song writing.

Raising money for Music Helps, who believe in the power of music to help and heal, the musicians hope they might assist others find and explore the joy in the music they make and share.

Poll: Should you ask before planting tall shrubs/trees near your property line?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

It may be fine now but in a few years trees can block out light or views for neighbours.

Do you think neighbours should ask before they go ahead and plant these?
