Jammies in June 2019

The Team from Howick Village Association

This year, we are proud to participate in the 'Jammies in June' Middlemore Foundation project.

Within Howick Village, there are five collection points organised which will welcome all donations for new children's flannelette/winter pyjamas, as well as other necessities such as beanies, scarves, nighties, socks, mittens and gloves.

Children living in disadvantaged communities are three times more likely to end up in hospital with winter illnesses so small practical steps, even as something as simple like a warm night's sleep, can set them up for healthier and brighter futures.

To donate to this cause, feel free to visit the below locations:

Howick Information Centre (115 Picton St)
Howick Village Optometrists (94 Picton St)
Picton Street Alterations (52 Picton St)
Howick Village Business Association (12 Central Tce)
LJ Hooker Real Estate (49 Picton Street)

Poll: Should you ask before planting tall shrubs/trees near your property line?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

It may be fine now but in a few years trees can block out light or views for neighbours.

Do you think neighbours should ask before they go ahead and plant these?
