Family plans to sell house after children chased by man in black van
Hi neighbours, a Devonport family are considering selling their house after their children were chased by a man driving a black van with tinted windows as they ran from the end of their street to their parents, who were watching from their front yard. The man pulled into their driveway after the children, put his lights on full-beam, reversed and fled. The mother also believed the same van pulled into their driveway again during the night. Police say they are aware of series of suspicious approaches in the Belmont area and are making inquiries.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
