Free Used Wool Feltex carpet (blue)

Sharon from Epsom

Free for collection. A shame for it all to be binned. Carpet from 5 bedrooms plus hall. Reasonable condition for its age.(I think we put it down around 20 years ago). Has some indentations from furniture and small stains in some places. The painters have sploshed a little bit of water based paint in a few places. Would be suitable for a garage or a bach. Approx. room sizes 4m x 5m, 4m x 4m, and 3 rooms approx. 3-3.5 x 3-3,5m,. The hall is about 1m wide and 12 metres long and has a corner. The lounge, stairs and other small room carpet to come out later.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
