Meals on Wheels volunteers needed in South Auckland
At New Zealand Red Cross we recruit and coordinate volunteers to deliver Meals on Wheels to people who are unable to cook for themselves. Every weekday all around the country, 250 volunteers are on the roads delivering hot, healthy lunches. Last year we distributed over 700,000 meals.
We are struggling to fill the rosters for volunteer drivers in South Auckland and need up to 70 more drivers. Could you spare just a couple of hours late morning once a week or fortnight? We provide training and support – and your fuel costs will be reimbursed.

Stealing vehicle emblems and damaging the vehicle
Please be aware there are persons going around Aberfeldy ave. Stealing the vehicles emblems off. Our neighbours and ours were taken, and the bodies were scraped so you can see the metal. Please don't buy this and be at a look out .
