Brickman Awesome: Epic LEGO® Brick Creations is on now, featuring 37 incredible LEGO® brick models and five building stations. The Brick Room is also open, where kids can spend an hour building with thousands of LEGO® bricks for just $5 per child.

If you’re in the mood to explore, pick up a free trail map from the South Atrium and hunt for LEGO® models masquerading as Museum objects on our Brickman Awesome Treasure Hunt. Finally, entries for our Museum LEGO® Master Builder Competition are open, so get building at home and submit a photo of your Aotearoa-inspired creation! Learn more

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
