Christmas and Parking.
I hope everybody has a fabulous Christmas full of fun and laughter and I wish you all the best for the New Year. On a more serious note. Could people without disabled parking permits please not park in disabled parking spots. Disabled people do have lives and need those parking spots so please be mindful. I shop late in the evening sometimes and do you think I can get a disabled park outside Countdown Manukau?! Not on your life!! That is year round!! There may be 2 cars with disabled permits the rest are not permitted. Thank you all for being understanding and considerate in the future to those less fortunate than the able bodied.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
