On a more serious note. Could people without disabled parking permits please not park in disabled parking spots. Disabled people do have lives and need those parking spots so please be mindful. I shop late in the evening sometimes and do you think I can get a disabled park outside Countdown Manukau?! Not on your life!! That is year round!! There may be 2 cars with disabled permits the rest are not permitted. Thank you all for being understanding and considerate in the future to those less fortunate than the able bodied.

“Studying in the Pōkaitahi Reo programme has allowed me to develop a totally beautiful and unique relationship with Māori communities in Auckland. The learning has helped my work to bridge gaps between Māori and others in our multicultural communities. When I look back, I feel really proud. It’s a great feeling when I speak te reo Māori. It’s a privilege.”
