I'm here to help a business at Short Notice

Jyoti from Somerville

The two-day Reiki Level one Workshop is taking place on the Weekend of 16th and 17th July 2022 (both days) from 9.00AM - 3.00PM.

In Level One you will learn about Reiki, history, Reiki principles, chakras, chakra balancing, grounding, hand positions and the entire procedure to give yourself and others a treatment. You will receive two attunements of level one, a certificate of completion (accepted all over the world), level one Manual and meditations.

Reiki (Rey-key) is a hands-on healing technique in which the Reiki practitioner reconnects to the Universal Energy (of which we all are a part) and channels it to a person. Using intention and attention, the Universal Energy flows through him to the receiver to enhance the body’s natural ability to heal itself through the balancing of energy.
Reiki energy leads to
-Feelings of relaxation
-Release of stress and anxiety, thus calming upset feelings
-Lowering of blood pressure
-Diminished side effects of chemotherapy treatments
-Decrease in the time to heal from injuries or surgery
-Creating a feeling of well-being of the body, mind and spirit
-Maintenance of hormonal balance
-Boost and balance of energy levels
-Enhanced immune system
-Mental clarity in difficult situations
-Improvement in sleep patterns
-Better understanding of your body and your emotions
-Creation of a meditative state
-Increased intuition
-Help in resolving emotional issues
-Expansion in spiritual awareness

If you connect to Reiki energy and would like to learn how to heal yourself and others at the physical, mental and emotional levels, contact me at jyotisondhi@lightingthelampwithin.com for Level One energy exchange and requirements.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

Night-time chipsealing works on SH2

NZ Transport Agency (NZTA)

From 9 to 17 February, stop/go traffic management will be in place on SH2 between McPherson Road and Dimmock Road on multiple nights between 9pm and 5am (Sundays to Thursdays).

During the day, all lanes will be open, but speed restrictions will apply to allow the chipseal to set and to protect vehicles travelling over the newly laid surface.

There may be delays to your journey when travelling through the area. This is weather dependent so check NZTA Journey Planner before you travel.
