Talk on Children and screen time
CHILDREN'S SCREEN TIME is a hot topic for parents. "How to manage screen time is the number one question I'm getting from parents in my private practice for children," says Michael Vaughan, Registered Psychologist. Michael will be doing a presentation in Devonport, Auckland on June 28 on this topic, including helpful strategies for parents and why it's vital to monitor and regulate screen time due to a range of adverse psychological and physical effects (see attached flyer).
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
