From Dubai to Devonport
Current exhibitor Mohad Ben Fahmi is an established and widely travelled painter between the Arabic world and Aotearoa, which has seen him design murals for Dubai International Airport and participate in five Sharjah Biennials.
Having spent many years living in Dubai, he is once again based in Tāmaki Makaurau and this exhibition of NZ landscapes showcases his unique spectrum of color and light as a starting point for vivid impressions which vibrate with movement, defying expectations of passive scenery.
Exhibition ends next Wednesday 1 June
