As we look to the future, Romy Udanga is absolutely focused on making sure the plans Jacinda and Labour have for the health and wellbeing of our community keep moving. These include a new $220 million surgical facility at North Shore Hospital, due in 2022.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
