High Tea Celebrating 125 years of women having the right to vote in NZ
The High Tea will take place at Outram Hall in Murrays Bay on the North Shore on Sunday 9 September at 3.30pm and is part of the Suffrage 125 national event programme to celebrate inspiring and innovative women that have influenced our past, present and future. Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
