Visit to our garden

Hasan from Bucklands Beach

Dear Neighbours,

A big THANK YOU to all neighbors that dropped by during this weekend to have a cup of Traditional Moroccan Tea or to view the latest selection of our Back-to-Earth Planting Pots, or to purchase one of our exquisite indoor plants.

I must say that it was a rich and enjoyable experience that I only had in our neighborhood when I was a child.

My wife and I had few calls today asking to repeat the experience as it brings back memories of the good old days when people, total strangers, would just walk into the driveway and say hello.

I have been living in this street for more than 3 years. Now I can say that I know at least 8 people by the first name. I felt embarrassed not to know everybody on my street.

Sincerely

Hasan Abdoh

Happy Tuesday neighbours, here's a riddle to get your mind going.

Riddler from The Neighbourly Riddler

I am beautiful, up in the sky.
I am magical, yet I cannot fly.
To some I bring luck, and to some, I bring riches.
The boy at my end does whatever he wishes.
What am I?

Poll: Should you ask before planting tall shrubs/trees near your property line?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

It may be fine now but in a few years trees can block out light or views for neighbours.

Do you think neighbours should ask before they go ahead and plant these?
