Hi neighbours, a solo dad has created scholarships to help parents who are struggling. Aaron D'Souza was once jobless, facing eviction and raising two boys alone. Now a teacher, D'Souza and his new partner have created two $1000 scholarships to help families with one income pay for school supplies and uniform. Read the story in the link below.

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)

Dead cat

Salima from Goodwood Heights

I saw a dead cat on Everglade Drive this morning near the crossing of Keri Anne place. It had been placed near the pavement. Black and white colour. Young. Did not look like it had been dead too long. If you know anyone who is looking for a cat, please inform.
