History of the PumpHouse Theatre in Takapuna
Join us at 1pm on Monday 7 October 2024 at the Glenfield Senior Citizens Hall for the much-anticipated presentation on the History of the PumpHouse Theatre in Takapuna. Our speaker is Mags Delaney-Moffatt, the Community Engagement person at The PumpHouse Theatre. Mags is an experienced stage manager, director, and drama teacher with a background in Education. She gives tours of the historic building sharing some of the stories she has gathered through collating the theatre’s archives and talking to people who performed at the theatre in its early days. Mags also looks after The Friends of the Pumphouse, curates and hosts the Creative Talk Series and runs Shakespeare workshops for young people.
Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?

Kia ora neighbours. We know your tomato plants are still growing, but we're looking ahead to the harvest already! If you've got a family recipe for tomatoes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine to share with our readers. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our February 2025 issue.
