Michelle's garden and the pigeonwood seedling among the weeds

Jenny from

Our client Michelle has a large front garden with several large exotic trees, and numerous smaller native trees. Michelle loves walking in the local bush, and dreamed of enjoying some of that ambience in her own large garden.

Once she learned it was possible, Michelle became keen to create a shady little bush-walk by converting the lawn and weedy borders of an unused part of her own large garden to a mostly-wild native plant community, solely by weeding, protecting the weeded ground from trampling and desiccation, and nurturing the wild native seedlings that would arise.

One day it may have wild pigeonwoods ...see our website for more about Michelle's garden, with photos of the pigeonwood seedlings found this week among the weeds.

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Press investigates the growing reliance on your unpaid labour.

Automation (or the “unpaid shift”) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.

We want to know: What do you think about automation?
