Outrageous concrete blocks dumping in Sispara Reserve

The Team from Pest Free Kaipātiki Restoration Society (Inc.)

Shocked Pest Free Kaipātiki volunteers, recently discovered the dumping of a large amount of concrete blocks, into Sispara Reserve, check the first link to watch the video on our Facebook page, we couldn't share a video and still images wouldn't do the trick. This blatant disregard for the sanctity of reserve land is morally reprehensible.

Auckland Council have been informed and are taking this illegal act seriously and investigations are underway.

Our reserves need our protection. They are vital not only from an ecological standpoint but also our community's physical and mental health, particularly during these uncertain times. If you ever see illegal dumping, please immediately report it by calling 0800 NO DUMP (0800 663 867), available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Please share this video with your networks, to make people aware our reserves need protecting.
