Want to volunteer
Hi all, I’m happy to volunteer a couple of hours a week to any business or community service in Birkenhead, Northcote, Hillcrest area.
Professionally I’m a marketer but in between jobs at the moment and would like to offer my time to someone who needs it. Timings between 2-5 and flexible on the work. Message me to discuss. 🙂
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
