A friend saw something in the public notices but did not notice what it was about?? With all the infill of housing going many people do not have gardens or areas for play for the children. We need this park to get fresh air, sunshine and exercise for the health and wellbeing of all. It would also be great to create a community garden in one corner so neighbours can get together for companionship and growing healthy food. I look forward to your feedback.

A $452 million 21-storey high-rise building has been unveiled and is to be built above one of Auckland's new railway stations.
Auckland Council has signed over a $40 million, 125-year lease to a Malaysian developer which will see construction take place over the City Rail Link's underground Aotea Station set to open in 2024.
The plans include commercial and retail space, 60 apartments and a public plaza. The developer, Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB), will begin construction of the nearly half-billion dollar building after the completion of the station in 2024, and is expected to take about three years.
What do you think about the design?

We are looking for individuals/pairs/couples to join our team.
We do one-off cleans, spring cleaning, end of tenancy cleaning and cleaning for people who are either moving in or out of homes, newly built homes and renovations. We also do Home Staging, helping with moving furniture and setting up Staging's. Lots of variety - so the days are never the same. Most jobs will be on North Shore, but we also travel further down Auckland, West and North. Most likely we travel in my car, but you will sometime need to take your own car/transport.
Sometimes it can be quiet and other times we can be very busy, working mostly between 3 to 7 hours on the day in normal hours from 9am to 5pm during the week.
Sometimes we work on weekends and you will be paid extra. Other times there will be no work at all.
Sometimes we get very short notice, less the 24 hours to attend to a job.
We work in teams for most jobs, depending on the size of the job. Usually there will be 2-5 people on each job.
The cleaning skills include (you don't need them all and you can be trained up in some of them):
Normal house cleaning (including kitchen and bathrooms) as well our extra service that include jobs as:
Oven Cleaning;
Walls & Ceilings;
Blinds;
Carpet cleaning
Windows;
Water blasting / House wash;
Lifting skills for lighter furniture (for the Home Staging part of my business).
Ideal candidate:
English speaking;
Good communication skills and positive attitude;
Physically strong and fit;
Some cleaning skills/flair needed;
Reliable, diligent and flexible;
Own car (often if the jobs are further away, we go in my car)
Good with your phone (so I can get a prompt answer)
Work Visa a must and no cash jobs.

Almost to the day, we were celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the New Zealand School of Food and Wine with special wine tastings, cooking classes, forage and gastronomic dinner for over 75 guests + our students. Many of our Christchurch team, including Lois, Philippe and Victoria had come up for the weekend. My mother-in-law, June Hay had also joined us from her retirement home in Christchurch. By Sunday 15 March, I was getting pretty nervous about Covid-19 and rather than have June stay in the North Island for a holiday, she returned home the next day. A few days later June's rest home went into lockdown and I counted the 14 days to see if we too had a NZSFW Covid Cluster. Fortunately not! See below some photos as we recalled the 10th Anniversary of the Christchurch Earthquakes.
