Hi Neighbours. Well done NZ on eliminating Covid-19 from our community. It's fantastic that the country is at Level 1. I'm sure that with the general public getting out there again businesses can take steps towards recovery.
In the meantime we can support our local businesses as much as we can. Travel and tourism has been hit hard, and as you can imagine, my own business has been severely impacted by the "new normal".
I love working in travel, so I've been working hard to pivot (yes that word!) my business and find ways to bring you all opportunities that help boost the NZ economy, and business, also keep me doing what I love.
SO my latest venture is to create an opportunity for you to support some of our local breweries and enjoy a fun, catered day trip, with none of the hassle of driving and navigating. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
