Auckland has welcomed 2021 in with a bang, starting with a five minute firework display from the top of the Sky Tower at midnight.

We’ve been dreaming of relaxing at this colourful retro Kāpiti bach which features in our January issue. It’s the perfect sanctuary for its Wellington owners, who find themselves unwinding as soon as they walk through its front gate. Where's your favourite place to unwind over the summer?

Hi Neighbours, 2020 - well it's all been said really hasn't it. Auckland has had a double-dose of the hardest part of Covid-19, with two big restrictions. But what a response from you all. My thoughts are below:

I'm currently working full time as a Commercial Site Supervisor in the city, but I'm looking to help out where I can by doing odd maintenance/carpenter jobs over the weekends to help get myself into my first home.
If you would like a hand with something Big or Small, please send me an email at (TomFergusonIronOak@gmail.com) with a description of the job and a photo of the issue (If possible), and I'll do my best to help.
Cheers

Summer daytrips out of Auckland always seem like a great plan until you’re trapped in a sticky motorway crawl, with thousands of other people who had the same bright idea.
But swap your roadie for a ferry and you’ll gain time, save petrol, and get sweet views from the water to boot.
