Highland Park Library has our next session of The Reading Revolution this Wednesday 4 May 2022 @ 2pm - 3.30pm. Just turn up to listen to something read a loud and then join in a conversation or listen to others, over a cup of tea and biscuit. Why not give it a try? Masks must be worn.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
