Hospital visiting restrictions - Alert Level 2
An important health message from Counties Manukau DHB to our community.
In Alert Level 2 of our COVID-19 response, unless there are exceptional circumstances or on compassionate grounds family are not able to visit loved ones in hospital.
Compassionate or exceptional grounds could include a nominated family member to support:
● A patient through end of life care;
● Someone who has been in hospital for a long time;
● A child in hospital;
● Women giving birth in a maternity facility
Whaanau who want to visit a patient will need to be from that patient’s own “bubble” and will need to request a visit in advance by speaking to a Charge Nurse or Midwife Manager.
You can stay connected with your Whaanau by calling or texting them.
Level 2 is our Safer Normal – please help us protect our community – keeping our treasures safe.
