Merry Christmas neighbours! Even though we will be closed during public holidays to get our staff and volunteers an opportunity to spend more time with their families, we are still open on 29, 30 and 31 December. Make your holidays better with a little bit of shopping! Come and see us at 3 Inverness Rd, Browns Bay from 10-4:30.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
