A New Year
As I left my corporate job in Dec due to big company restructures, I've decided I think it's time for me to have a change..... and it's pretty scary to decided what do I do next. Do I head back into the corporate advertising space where I work long hours? or do I take this time to share some of my passions to others. I've had limited time for me and time to exercise just doesn't come into it. While juggling two young kids 5 and 11, after school things on, my job..... I'm kind of thinking β¦ I need to make a change. A change for me, my health, and my future.
This whole social media thing for me is slightly out of my comfort zone, but I thought I would it put it out there anyway. I've decided to embark on this new challenge, being healthier inside and out. For the next 30 days I'll be making a difference to me and I'd like to share this with you. I've attached a card that I received from my co workers and it really has resonated me " The World is my Oyster" - how true - I just need to make things happen.
Contact me or watch my journey - the more support I get I think it will be much easier - Cheers Sarah x

Some Choice News!
DOC is rolling out a new tool to help figure out what to tackle first when it comes to protecting our threatened species and the things putting them at risk.
Why does this matter? As Nikki Macdonald from The Post points out, weβre a country with around 4,400 threatened species. With limited time and funding, conservation has always meant making tough calls about what gets attention first.
For the first time, DOC has put real numbers around what it would take to do everything needed to properly safeguard our unique natural environment. The new BioInvest tool shows the scale of the challenge: 310,177 actions across 28,007 sites.
Now that we can see the full picture, it brings the big question into focus: how much do we, as Kiwis, truly value protecting nature β and what are we prepared to invest to make it happen?
We hope this brings a smile!
