Kia ora neighbours,

It’s the school holidays, which means many parents will be assessing whether they need to re-stock on uniform, or if that jersey can last another term.

Do you think schools should have to offer generic uniforms rather than expensive branded items?

Wales has passed a new law requiring schools to consider ways of keeping costs down - for example, stipulating basic colours but not styles so items can be bought from multiple outlets, or only having the logo on one item.

Do you think our Government should follow suit to help keep costs down for parents?

(Add NFP if you don’t want your comment published.)

Join me for a free fun 1 hour class this Sunday 21st July 10 - 11am.

Learn about doTERRA essential oils and how they can naturally support your physical, emotional, spiritual and environmental well being.

It's a sad fact that we now live in a toxin filled environment.

We can't control the toxins and chemicals we are exposed to when we are out and about, but we can control what we are exposed to inside our house.

From the products we use to clean our house to the beauty products we put on our skin. Many of these can have nasty chemicals hiding in them that over time, can build up in your body and have negative side effects on your health.

I want to show you how to use essential oils to replace all these with natural alternatives!

In this class you get to smell the oils, learn about the oils and learn how to use them safely and effectively and have the opportunity to purchase oils to start on your own journey into a more natural toxin-free life.

And then sample some yummy essential oil infused treats!

And then stay on for a Natural Skin Care Make and Take class from

11 - 12.30pm. Cost for this is $30 and you will make a facial toner, anti-aging serum, body scrub and body butter, all using the essential oils and natural non-toxic ingredients.

PM, text or phone me on 021 474379 to reserve your seat.

I look forward to seeing you there!
Sheryl

She lacked self-confidence. ‘‘I had a negative mind set in which I had beliefs that I would never be successful at anything, with a very low self-esteem. ‘‘I made excuses because I had no motivation and little confidence and I let life pass me by even if it was a wonderful opportunity because I was so afraid of the unknown.’’

Not anymore! Prasad, 18, and the youngest in a family of five, is now working as a caregiver while studying a foundation course at NZMA for occupational therapy and has realised she ‘‘could do anything’’. She is the first in her family to go to university. The South Auckland teen has found her potential with the help of our Foundation that aims to transform young Kiwi lives.
