Want to try throwing javelin, hammer, discus and shotput?

Mark from Bucklands Beach

Starting in May there will be a monthly competition at Pakuranga Athletic Club stadium for those 20+ years of age. We compete in 5 year age groups (ie 40-45, 45-50 etc), separated by gender and also by experience. For those who wish to learn how to throw discus, shot, javelin and hammer, we run training sessions on Monday evenings starting at 6pm at the Pakuranga Athletic stadium. This is a community undertaking so no charge is made. If interested contact Mark on 02102292521.

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Press investigates the growing reliance on your unpaid labour.
