Nina Johnson has come to wilderness of Whatipu to reckon and wrestle with her identity and the musical manifestation of who she truly is. Far from the land of her birth, she encounters her grief as the ghosts of family lost wash ashore. Nina must face the past that they carry with them, and embrace the tides to rediscover her song.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
