Join us these school holidays for some old-fashioned Summer Fun! Each day families and children of all ages can come and explore the village and participate in various activities including outdoor games, giant bubbles, craft activities and the ever-popular Dragon trail. Join our villagers for a traditional activity at 11am and 2pm each day, Mon-Fri only.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
