Do you wish to secure a retail role before the busy Christmas period is here?
This free, part-time Unitec programme (studied over a 26 week period), will teach you key skills and give you the confidence to either get started in a retail career, or develop a deeper understanding of the business.
Two study options are available for you to choose from:
OPTION 1:
Day: Wednesday
Date: 2 May - 6 October 2018
Time: 9:00am - 3:00pm
OPTION 2:
Day: Wednesday and Saturday
Date: 2 May 2018 - 9 October 2018
Time: Wednesday, 6:00pm - 9:00pm & Saturday, 1:00pm to 3:00pm
STUDY VENUE: Highland Park Community House, 47 Aviemore Drive, Highland Park, Auckland
All students who are not in paid employment, are required to volunteer in the work-place during the 6 months study period. This allows you to gain up to 2 current references for your CV.
Get a free set of clothing from Dress For Success (females only) T&C’s apply.
You must have citizenship or permanent residence (not a work visa).

If you want to know how to request records about you or your whānau visit Kōnae: My Records Guide konae.org.nz.

Kōnae has information on more than 60 state and faith-based organisations that have records for over 800 homes and places in Aotearoa New Zealand about people who have been in their guardianship or care.

The Kōnae map shows past and present places in Aotearoa New Zealand like children’s homes, hospitals, orphanages, boarding schools, Youth Justice facilities and many more.

Each place on the map has details about who was responsible for running it and how to get records.

The map can be searched and filtered by
- name
- location
- date range
- religion
- type of organisation.
