Rising price of food, Part 2
About 4 months ago I posted on the above topic, specifically dairy (butter) and beef ( steak) prices. The latest to join this list of Kiwi produced food which is becoming unaffordable is the Kiwifruit. At $8.99 and & $11.99 for green and gold respectively (more than $1 each) at a local veggie shop, unfortunately it is joining the list of popular/leading exports which we now have to pay exhorbitant prices for.

Automation (or the “unpaid shift”) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.
We want to know: What do you think about automation?

-
9.5% For. Self-service is less frustrating and convenient.
-
43.5% I want to be able to choose.
-
47.1% Against. I want to deal with people.
