Navigating challenging conversations
Interested in skills to help handle conflict and difficult conversations?
Erica Fairbank of Savvy Ever After is creating a one-off, hands-on workshop for us.
6 December, 10.30-1.30 in Birkenhead.
Over three hours we'll cover:
- The fundamentals of non-verbal language
- Identifying stress in others and yourself
- Understanding the Cycle of Escalation
- Sharpening the skill of asking good questions
- Confidently handling difficult conversations.
As another of the restorative thinking conversations hosted by Onewa Christian Community, there is no charge for this workshop. Thanks to the Justice-Compassion Trust for covering our costs. Also, thanks to ANCAD for supporting our conversations.
Note: this is a public workshop, not a church/religious activity.
Registrations essential. Get a ticket here:

STUDENT JOB....cash in back pocket..
Need a fit young person to help maintain a garden for senior citizen. Weeding, planting, mulching, planning.... Could suit a student of engineering/science - more so than philosophy.
2 x Senior Builders - Small jobs - Maintenance
Mike and I have about 90 years experience between us. There is nothing we can't do around your home. Do you have sticking windows and doors, Aluminium and Timber, catches and handles broken or stuck? Garage Doors included.
Letterboxes a bit wobbly or broken, numbers missing, we still need to find you even if the Postie has gone AWOL.
Kitchen and Bathroom need some maintenance, doors water damaged, hinges not working properly, handles missing or broken. Bench tops tired or want to change the look? Gib installation, plastering and painting. Or a complete remodel.
Weather board replacement or tidying up, painting outside too.
Concrete paths and drive a bit cracked and broken, we can sort these problems also. oil stains an eyesore.
Decks, replace or repair, new stairs and balustrades including railings.
This is only a small list if our expertise, if it needs fixing or changing we have the ability.
Please text or call Mike 02041664786 or Bruce 0212121480 to organise a free visit to discuss your project.
