Luca Vasori from Birkenhead United afc

Dear All,
What a term 3 we had this year in NZ!! The FIFA Women’s World Cup has just finished and left us all with great memories of exceptional football, full stadiums and a great football atmosphere which has certainly ignite passion on all children down under.
At Birko, football never sleeps so we have prepared another exciting School Holiday Programme to celebrate the end of Term 3.

Our holiday programme offers a fun but challenging opportunity for kids ages 9 to 12 years old; to learn and develop under the guidance of our qualified BUAFC Skill Centre and FunFootball Coaches. Enjoy games, challenges and tournaments that focus on developing skills and having fun. All while getting plenty of fresh air and exercise in a safe and fun environment with our Birko coaches!

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
