highway
Ever since Kaipatiki and Beachaven start the waste water pipe project Peach road is like a highway. Cars, utes trucks bus bike zoom down Peach road. Residence that coming out of the driveway have to be extra caution.Sometimes when our cars is halfway out the cars don't even slow down and give way .they just swing around and zoom off.Utes don't and trucks don't even slow down at the speed bumps. There was once a trailer came off the trucks and screech on the road. Drivers slow down and give way. There are cars parked outside my house so close to the edge of the driveway and there is a van blocking the view as we do not have any visible to see oncoming cars. There are also cars parked on the berm.
Would suggest a mobile speed camera or police with lasers to ticket all the nuisance cars. In the weekend we try to sleep a bit late but we can't.cars with trailers truck just zoom across and make loud banging noise.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
Do you think this ban is reasonable?
