Grass collector/cleaner/lab tech

Mike from Chatswood

We have a permanent part time position going for a reliable person 3-7 hours per week on Wednedays and Thursdays cutting grass rain or shine by hand to feed one of our insect colonies and cleaning or insect laboratory. You'll need your own car and we'll provide the cutters, a boot liner and gumboots if you don't have any. The cleaning is 3 hours on Thursday. Not a requisite but there's an opportunity to work with insects and pack them up for dispatch to customers when regular staff go on holiday (up to 8 weeks annually at 20+ hours per week). $26.10 per hour plus some tax free mileage allowance for your car. Come and join our small 'family' team at Biosuppliers by contacting Mike, email bio@pl.net with your phone number and brief comments as to your interest and availability please. All applications will be answered.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
