The NZ Herald made the mistake of associating us with negative images and pages. Last week the NZ Herald had to apologise in a printed correction.
We appreciate all the positive support we are getting for our campaign. We are proud of our policy position. Neither of us are interested in divisive politics, it's not our style.
As we have done with the local boards, we have worked constructively with our communities with great results. We will continue to do so on council to best represent the communities we love.

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
