Candidate Information Correction
In the candidate information book mailed out to voters in the Kaipātiki local board area, incorrect photos were included for mayoral candidate Tricia Cheel and local board candidate Danielle Grant.
New Zealand Post, who is responsible for the production and print of the mailed documents, has apologised to both candidates for the error and extends the apology to voters in the Kaipātiki local board area.
Corrected information for both candidates will be mailed out to all affected voters.
New Zealand Post is in the process of investigating the cause of the error. Their findings will be presented to Auckland Council once complete.
