Police Pay Parade and Awards Ceremony
Counties Manukau Police held their annual and traditional Pay Parade this morning, when officers and staff marched through the streets of Howick Village, before holding their awards ceremony in Howick RSA. It's the first time in six years that the parade has been held in Howick and many locals, including enthusiastic students of Howick Intermediate School, lined Picton Street to applaud the men and women in blue.
