Our web site gives tourists and travellers all sorts of vital information including weather, traffic, camping tips with links to Police,Civil Defence, DOC , Weatherwatch and many more. We have recently added the top 24 Ski Fields with links to each individual Field or club. The radio station is digital which means it is broadcast over the internet. The problem with AM/FM is that if you leave Auckland, once you are over the Bombay Hills you lose signal and have to search around for a frequency. With internet that doesn't happen. Provided you have internet on your phone or tablet, you have radio and if you listen via Tune In Radio you can even record us for later. Our Web Site is www.radiowavenz.com...

Whether you are in the midst of a crisis, or at the stage that either you or your spouse need to enter permanent care, it can be a very daunting task. Acacia Cove offers independent living while having nurses either onsite or on call 24/7.

The Directors of Acacia Cove recognised how difficult it was for couples to separate as one moved into full-time care and so facilitated the sale of land close by to Bupa NZ Ltd to build a facility that our residents had access to. This has proved to be very successful. However, only a really low percentage of people ever need to move into full-time care, because ideally the District Health Boards would prefer to find home-based support to keep people in their own homes.
