I have some idiot motorcyclists revving up their motorbikes in front of the traffic lights within 10 metres from my house, while I am working from home using Google Meet!!!!!

If you are a motorcyclist and waiting for the lights in a residential area, please be mindful of people using videoconferencing at home nearby as it disturbs people trying to do business or teaching.

The current lockdown is preventing some of us from going to our usual place of work. Please be considerate of excessive noise in residential areas of Auckland.

Anyone else struggling with unnecessary excessive noise while videoconferencing during the day?

What are you looking forward to at the traffic light system?

Josephine Franks Reporter from Eastern Courier

Kia ora neighbours, the traffic lights are in sight and we'd love to know what you're most looking forward to once Aucklanders have more freedom. Residents of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland are invited to attend a FREE MH101 webinar series during December.

Blueprint for Learning, has been awarded funding from the Ministry of Health to facilitate MH101 webinars and workshops for frontline government agency staff, social services staff, and members of the community who are not trained in mental health or addiction.

Staff in these organisations are eligible to attend these FREE workshops if they are likely to come into regular contact with individuals experiencing mental distress in their day-to-day work.

These one-day workshops and three session webinars are co-facilitated by Blueprint’s expert team, bringing a wealth of professional and personal experience to the sessions.

Each participant will be given a workbook which they can keep. This includes all workshop material and is a reference guide for the future, including additional information and resources.

After MH101® you will:
• recognise signs of positive mental health and of mental health challenges.
• use Te Whare Tapa Whā to support mental wellbeing.
• relate to what people with mental health challenges are experiencing.
• respond supportively to mental distress.

To register for the three sessions on the dates/times below: blueprint.arlo.co......

Monday, 6 December 2021 2:00pm - 4.30pm
Wednesday, 8 December 2021 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Friday,10 December 2021 2:00pm - 4:00pm

Each participant will need their own device with camera and microphone, a stable internet connection and a quiet, private space to join each session from. Participants will need to attend all three sessions to receive a completion certificate.

Blueprint for Learning is also able to run MH101 workshops and webinars for organisations and would be pleased to discuss this with you.
