The recent difficult weather has caused a lot of disruption and created challenges for so many people. These can be difficult to cope with, and can challenge our usual coping strategies.
Highbury Community House has worked with the team at the The Grief Centre to bring a free community session facilitated by counsellors from the Grief Centre to share your experiences with others and to also learn ways to help you cope with the losses, stress and challenges you may be facing.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
