Join the Conversation - The Charities Amendment Bill

The Charities Amendment Bill is now before the Select Committee with submissions closing 10 Nov. The bill aims to modernise the charities sector by increasing transparency, improving access to justice services and reducing the red-tape that smaller charities face. It will require changes to charity reporting, compliance and governance.

This workshop will take place on both zoom and in person at Mary Thomas Centre, 3 Gibbons Road, Takapuna.

Date: November 2
Time: 12.30pm - 2pm
Venue: On zoom or at 3 Gibbons Road, Takapuna.

A light lunch will be provided at the venue.

You will learn:

* Some of the key change

* Why it is important for charities

* How to have you say and contribute to the discussion

* Practical tips for writing a submission

* Discussion and the opportunity for organisations to collaborate on a joint submission

The workshop will be led by Sandy Thompson (LEAD).
